What Crossbuffer does
We build custom software systems for organizations that have operational problems their current tools can't solve. That usually means one of three things: the off-the-shelf tools don't fit the workflow, the workflows have outgrown the tools, or the regulatory environment requires something that generic software can't provide.
Our work covers deal pipeline systems, workflow automation, compliance infrastructure, and internal tools. All of it is production-grade — built to handle the actual volume, failure modes, and data constraints of real operations.
We don't build MVPs and walk away. We build systems that are meant to run for years without constant intervention.
Why only three industries
Most software failures are domain failures, not engineering failures. The system breaks because it was built by people who didn't understand the operational reality of the business.
We work in Real Estate, Healthcare, and Fintech because we understand how deals move in each of these industries, what compliance actually requires, and where the data breaks down. That domain knowledge is what separates software that works from software that gets replaced.
Expanding beyond three industries would dilute that knowledge. We'd rather do three industries correctly than ten industries generically.
How we approach building

Map the operational problem first
Before any technical work, we understand the actual workflow — where the bottleneck is, what data exists, and why the current system fails. This is not a discovery phase that sells the project. It's necessary to build the right thing.

Design the data model, not the interface
Most software fails at the data layer. The interface is secondary. We start with data structure, state transitions, and validation rules — the parts that determine whether the system is correct.

Build for production from the start
We don't build prototypes and convert them. We build production systems directly — with error handling, audit trails, and operational monitoring in place from the beginning.
